When friends or family have moved away from Mississippi, a birthday or a holiday is a good excuse to send some of the state to them. Here are gifts from Mississippi that ship straight to their door.
Everything below is in our Mississippi gifts collection.
For Christmas
The Merry Christmas From Mississippi leatherette ornament arches the words over the state shape, with the state name in script and a laurel wreath underneath. It also comes in slate and wood.
The leatherette ornament is a thin, shatterproof disc, 3 3/4 inches, in black, blue or brown. It's the one to hang low if there are kids or cats near the tree.
For a new house
Two of our 16 Mississippi designs were made for a home:
- HOME Outline, HOME with the state outline as the O
- Home Sweet Home, with the state shape as the O in HOME
Both come on the Mississippi slate coaster set, the Mississippi wine bottle cutting board and the Mississippi slate ornament.
For a birthday
Mississippi is known as the Magnolia State. Our Magnolia State design pairs the state outline with a mockingbird and magnolia blossoms, plus "The Magnolia State" and EST. 1817, the year Mississippi became a state. It comes on a wall sign, slate coasters and a 32 oz water bottle in black or white.
Timing
These aren't made in Mississippi. We keep plain blanks in stock in our workshop in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and engrave each piece after you order. Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days, coasters and ornaments in a protective sleeve and boards and wall art in a plain box. If it's for Christmas, add carrier transit time.
