Glassware

Glassware with a food-safe blue resin base, and a sea creature set into it so it reads as suspended in water underneath whatever you are drinking. Five shapes, seven creatures, and the same base on all of them, so they build into a set.

The five shapes

• 10.5 oz wine glass, stemmed, for a pour you intend to finish
• 15 oz stemless wine glass, no stem to knock over, so this is the one that goes outside
• 19 oz wine glass, stemmed, and a full pour still leaves room to swirl
• 16 oz pint glass, a standard pint with an octopus holding station at the bottom
• 12.5 oz glass mug, clear glass, so the creature sits under your coffee rather than behind it

Seven sea creatures

Mermaid, sea turtle, shark, octopus, crab, stingray and scuba diver. Every shape comes in every one of them, so a set can match or deliberately not.

How they are made

The resin is poured into the base of the glass and the creature is set into it while it cures, which is why it appears to float rather than sit flat. The resin is food safe. It is also the reason these are hand wash only.

Care

Hand wash only. Dishwasher heat can cloud or soften the resin base, and once that happens it does not come back. Warm water and dish soap.
