Wood or slate?

The wood is the light one. It is pale, warm and barely there on the branch, and the engraving reads dark against the grain. The slate version is the opposite: dark stone with the design cut in light, heavier in the hand, and it comes in 3" or 4". Same design on both, so you can match a set or mix them.
