Laredo, Texas Skyline Slate Coasters, Single or Set of 4, 6 or 8, Laser Engraved

Genuine slate coasters, laser engraved with the Laredo, Texas skyline. Buy a single coaster or a set of 4, 6 or 8. The Rio Grande, the border, and the busiest inland port in the country. The design is cut into the stone itself, so it lasts as long as the coaster does.

Laredo, beyond the skyline

Laredo was founded in 1755 as a Spanish settlement, and San Agustin Plaza still marks the old center. The city has lived under seven flags, including that of the short lived Republic of the Rio Grande, and the Washington's Birthday Celebration each winter is one of the largest in the country.

What you get

• 1, 4, 6 or 8 coasters, every coaster in a set engraved with the same skyline
• 4" square or 4" round, your choice, cut from genuine natural slate

Details

• Material: genuine natural slate, 1/4" thick
• Size: 4", square or round
• Edges: hand chiseled, so no two coasters are ever identical
• Backing: four foam pads on the underside to protect your furniture
• Finish: laser engraved into the stone, it will not fade, peel, or wash off
• Packaging: ships in a protective sleeve (not gift boxed)

Made to order

We keep the slate in stock and run your design only after you order, so nothing sits on a shelf waiting. Your order is engraved and shipped within 1-3 business days.

Why slate

Slate is naturally porous, so it absorbs condensation instead of pushing it onto your table. The dark stone hides drips, the weight keeps a coaster from sliding when you lift your glass, and because the design is cut into the stone itself, it cannot wear off. Rinse with warm water and air dry.

A good gift for

Anyone who grew up in Laredo, moved away from it, or moved to it. Housewarmings in a new city, the transplant who still calls it home, and a souvenir from a trip that is worth more than a magnet.
