"I'm Like a Coaster But Better" Slate Coasters, Single or Set of 4, 6 or 8, Laser Engraved

Genuine slate coasters, laser engraved with "I'm Like a Coaster But Better." Buy a single coaster or a set of 4, 6 or 8. Confident, for a piece of stone. The design is cut into the stone itself, so it lasts as long as the coaster does.

What you get

• 1, 4, 6 or 8 coasters, every coaster in a set engraved with the same design
• 4" square or 4" round, your choice, cut from genuine natural slate

Details

• Material: genuine natural slate, 1/4" thick

• Backing: four foam pads on the underside to protect your furniture
• Finish: laser engraved into the stone, it will not fade, peel, or wash off
• Packaging: ships in a protective sleeve (not gift boxed)

Made to order

We keep the slate in stock and run your design only after you order, so nothing sits on a shelf waiting. Your order is engraved and shipped within 1-3 business days.

Why slate

Slate is naturally porous, so it absorbs condensation instead of pushing it onto your table. The dark stone hides drips, the weight keeps a coaster from sliding when you lift your glass, and because the design is cut into the stone itself, it cannot wear off. Rinse with warm water and air dry.

Slate or cork?

We make this same design on both. Slate is heavier and darker, with hand chiseled edges, and reads more like barware. Cork is light, quiet and warm toned, it takes a hot coffee mug as happily as a cold glass, and it cannot chip. Slate is the set you put out for company; cork is the everyday one. See the cork version here.

A good gift for

Housewarmings, desk setups, secret santa and anyone who likes a coaster with something to say.
