Description
A first edition hardcover. This is the first edition printing of The Mermaid of Hilton Head, book one of Nina Leipold's Mermaid of Hilton Head series.
The Mermaid of Hilton Head takes children on an aquatic adventure while teaching them about nature conservation. She travelled the coast with her pod, and every time she passed Hilton Head she noticed the sea turtles seemed stressed, so she stayed to find out why. Kids get to know her and learn that one simple action can help save the island's sea turtles.
About this printing
It has the original back cover, from the years Nina ran the Mermaid Encounter Boat Tour. The tour and the contact details printed on the back are no longer current.
