"Dog Dad" Definition Round Slate Christmas Ornament

A round slate Christmas ornament, laser engraved with the Dog Dad definition, set out like a dictionary entry: the word, the phonetic spelling, the numbered meanings and a see also line. For the man who talks to the dog in a voice nobody else gets to hear. The design is cut into the stone itself, so it will not fade, peel or wash off.

What it says

Dog Dad [dog dad] noun. 1. A human loyal to a furry duke. 2. Revels in slobbery greetings and park conquests. See also: leash holder, bark cheerleader, mud wiper.

3 inch or 4 inch?

The 3" is the classic tree ornament size and sits into a full tree the way an ornament should. The 4" reads from across the room and gives the smaller print in the definition more space. Same slate, same engraving, same hanging string.

Slate, wood or leatherette?

The slate is the dark one. It is heavier in the hand, the design is cut in light against the stone, and it comes in 3" or 4". The wood version is pale and warm, 3.5" across with a twine hanger and the engraving burned dark into the grain. The leatherette version is 3 3/4" round, light and shatterproof, in black, blue or brown. Same definition on all three.

A good gift for

Dog dads, Father's Day, birthdays and stocking stuffers.

The same design on other pieces

The Dog Dad definition is also engraved on slate coasters, cork coasters and a leatherette wall sign. There are more in dog Christmas ornaments and the rest of the Christmas ornaments.
