Cook, Pray, Eat Engraved Acacia Wood & Slate Cutting Board
Description
Description
An acacia wood board with a natural slate insert, laser engraved with "Cook, Pray, Eat" in stacked lettering between a spoon and a fork. The engraving reads light grey against the dark slate, inside a warm wood border.
Details
- Material: acacia wood with a natural slate insert
- Shapes and sizes: rectangle 13" x 9", or with a handle in 16" x 7 3/4" or 13 1/4" x 7"
- Engraving: laser engraved into the slate, so there is no ink or paint to wear off
- Grain: acacia is a natural wood, so the color and grain of the border vary from board to board
Serving, not chopping
Slate is best for serving. Put out cheese, crackers, fruit or dessert on it and keep the knife work on a wood board, since cutting on stone dulls a blade fast. Between uses it can stand on the counter as a sign.
Care
Hand wash and towel dry. No dishwasher, and do not leave it soaking. A little food safe mineral oil on the wood border now and then keeps the acacia from drying out.
Made to order
We keep the blanks in stock and engrave your board only after you order, so nothing sits on a shelf waiting. Boards ship within 1-3 business days.
A good gift for
A housewarming, a church or fellowship hall kitchen, a pastor's family, or newlyweds who say grace together.
The same saying on maple
"Cook, Pray, Eat" also comes on a maple cutting board for everyday chopping, and there is a "Bless the Food Before Us" maple board. See the other acacia and slate board, "Kitchen: The Best of Times", or every board in cutting boards.
