"I Want to Be Where the People Aren't" Travel Mug, 40 oz

A 40 oz insulated travel mug carrying Flounder the Purrmaid perched on the shore, tail curled against a scatter of shells, making one quiet request: I want to be where the people aren't. Hand drawn by Nina Leipold.

Details

• Capacity: 40 oz, with an ergonomic handle
• Build: double wall stainless steel, for hours of hot or cold
• Finish: powder coated, with the artwork UV printed straight onto the mug
• Lid: leak-resistant push-on lid with a secure latch, reusable straw included
• Colors: white, navy blue, royal blue and dark gray

Care

Hand wash with warm water and dish soap. Do not put an insulated tumbler in the dishwasher: the heat can break the seal between the two walls, and once that seal goes the insulation stops working for good.

Made to order

Printed after you order rather than held in stock, so nothing sits on a shelf waiting.

Who Flounder is

Flounder is a real cat who talks using communication buttons. The Purrmaid is how Nina draws her when there is water involved: cat above, tail below, entirely unbothered by the biology of it.

A good gift for

Introverts, early risers who go to the beach before anyone else does, anyone who has ever left a party through a side door, and the friend whose ideal holiday has no other people in it.

More of this design

The same purrmaid runs on a t-shirt, a kids tee, a crewneck sweatshirt, a racerback tank and a soy candle.

The purrmaid turns up again in Wingapo and Youth Purrmaids. More drinkware in the tumbler collection, and more from the same cat in the full Flounder Cat collection.

The same design on other pieces

The same artwork is on a youth tee and a tee. Everything with this design is in I Want to Be Where the People Aren't.
