The first Christmas after a move south is different. It's warmer, the tree might go up in shorts, and the new house doesn't quite feel like home yet. An ornament with Georgia on it is a small way to mark the year you arrived.
Here's how to pick a Georgia Christmas ornament from our Georgia gifts collection.
The Peach State design
Georgia is known as the Peach State. Our Peach State design pairs the state outline with a peach and the capitol dome, plus "The Peach State" and EST. 1788.
It comes in three ornaments:

Pick the material
Slate
Dark natural stone with the design engraved in light, in a 3 or 4 inch round, with a pre-drilled hole and a hanging string. The 4 inch reads from across the room.
Wood
Light natural wood, 3.5 inches across and about a tenth of an inch thick, with the design engraved dark into the grain. A twine hanger comes already tied on.
Leatherette
A thin 3 3/4 inch disc in black, blue or brown. It's shatterproof, so it's the one to hang low if kids or pets are around, and the easiest to mail.

For the new city
If the move was to a city, the skyline marks exactly where.
- Atlanta: the Peachtree towers and the capitol dome. Slate or wood.
- Savannah: the Talmadge Bridge, the dome of City Hall and a riverboat. Slate or wood.

For a first house
Home Sweet Home, with the state shape standing in for the O in HOME, says it outright. It comes on the Georgia slate Christmas ornament, the Georgia wood Christmas ornament and the Georgia leatherette Christmas ornament, along with our other state designs.

For family back north
Send one back the other way. The Merry Christmas From Georgia leatherette ornament arches the words over the state shape, with the state name in script and a laurel wreath underneath. It's light and easy to mail. It also comes in slate and wood.

Order timing
Ornaments are made to order. Each one is engraved after you buy it and ships within 1 to 3 business days in a protective sleeve. Add carrier transit time, and order early in the season if it needs to arrive by a certain date.
These aren't made in Georgia. We keep plain blanks in stock in our workshop in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Find every Georgia ornament on the Georgia collection page.
