A shore house fills up fast in summer, and every surface ends up holding a drink. Here are Delaware coasters, plus the board and bottle that go with them, for shore house season.

Slate coasters
The Delaware slate coaster set comes as a single coaster or a set of 4, 6 or 8, in natural slate, round or square, 4 inches across and a quarter inch thick. The edges are hand chiseled, so no two coasters are alike, and four foam pads on the back protect the table. Slate has weight to it and stays put on a deck table.
Cork coasters
The Delaware cork coaster set comes as a single coaster or a set of 4, 6 or 8, in natural cork, 3/16 inch thick and 4 inches across. Cork is much lighter than slate, grips the table without pads, and takes a hot mug as well as a cold can. It's the easier set to pack for a rental or a boat.
The designs
Both sets come in our 16 Delaware designs, from a classic outline to DE initials, the name running vertically down the shape, Est. 1787 and HOME with the state as the O. Every coaster in a set carries the same design, so if you want a mix, order a second set in another design. Hearts and stars inside the state shape are decorative and don't mark a town.
Delaware is known as the First State. Our First State design pairs the state outline with a gray fox, a waterfall and pine forest, plus "The First State" and EST. 1787, the year Delaware became the first state to ratify the Constitution. It comes on its own slate set and cork set.
The rest of the bar
- A bar tray: the Delaware wine bottle cutting board is solid bamboo, 17 by 5.25 inches, cut in the shape of a wine bottle. It works as a cheese board, a charcuterie plank or a tray for glasses. Hand wash and towel dry, no dishwasher.
- Something for the beach: the First State water bottle, 32 oz insulated stainless steel in black or white, keeps drinks cold for 24 hours or more. Hand wash only.
Timing
These aren't made in Delaware. We keep plain blanks in stock in our workshop in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and engrave each piece after you order. Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days, coasters and ornaments in a protective sleeve and boards and wall art in a plain box, so plan on wrapping anything meant as a gift.
