Utah gifts land differently depending on who's getting them. Someone along the Wasatch Front who skis every weekend and someone who drives south every spring for the red rock country might want different things. Here's what we make for each.

The Beehive State design
Utah is known as the Beehive State. Our Beehive State design pairs the state outline with a beehive, a California gull and red rock arches, plus "The Beehive State" and EST. 1896, the year Utah became a state.
The Beehive State slate coaster set is four natural slate coasters, round or square, 4 inches across and a quarter inch thick. The edges are hand chiseled, so no two coasters are alike, and four foam pads on the back protect the table. There's a lighter cork version, 3/16 inch thick, that grips without pads and takes a hot mug.
For Wasatch locals
For someone who lives in Utah, the state designs work well at home:
- The Utah slate coaster set comes in 16 Utah designs, including UT Initials, Bold State Name and Est. 1896. Each set of four carries one design.
- The Utah wine bottle cutting board is solid bamboo, 17 by 5.25 inches, cut in the shape of a wine bottle, in the same 16 designs.
For red rock regulars
For someone who heads south for the canyons every year, the red rock arches on the Beehive State design are the draw.
- The Beehive State water bottle is 32 oz insulated stainless steel in black or white, with a flip top and a built-in straw. The design is engraved through the powder coat, so it won't peel. Hand wash only.
- The Utah wall sign puts the same design on 10 by 10 inch leatherette in blue or brown.
Timing
These aren't made in Utah. We keep plain blanks in stock in our workshop in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and engrave each piece after you order. Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days, coasters in a protective sleeve and boards and wall art in a plain box, so plan on wrapping anything meant as a gift.
